Backpack Drive Saved!

When a severe storm swept through Texas, our original backpack drive leaders were caught right in the middle of it, unable to deliver the backpacks they had worked so hard to gather. We have this backpack drive every year to support our families as the new school year starts. But here’s where the story takes a truly exciting turn – an incredible group of supporters, including our friends at Flavor Rich & Friends of Yemaya, stepped up in a major way! In record time, they rallied together and made sure we had all the backpacks we needed to serve our clients. It was a true display of teamwork, heart, and determination. Thanks to their quick response, every child who needed a backpack got one, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to share this amazing outcome with you! It’s moments like these that remind us of the incredible power of community, and we are so proud to have supporters like you who are always ready to make things happen!
