It’s National Diaper Need Awareness Week (Sept 15–21), and nearly 1 in 2 families with young children struggles to afford enough diapers. Because SNAP and WIC don’t cover them, many Atlanta parents face impossible choices — paying rent, buying groceries, or keeping their babies clean and dry.
At the Atlanta Children’s Day Shelter, we believe no parent should have to choose. That’s why, this week, we’ve set an ambitious goal:
Raise $10,000 and collect 10,000 diapers to keep our babies clean, dry, and healthy.

Another Way to Make an Impact:
We’re inviting our corporate partners, workplaces, churches, and community groups to make a difference by hosting a diaper drive this week or offering a matching gift to double the impact of donations made during National Diaper Need Awareness Week.
We’ll make it easy:
- Provide a flyer and email template you can share internally
- Recognize your organization on our campaign updates
If you or your company would like to host a collection drive, or provide a matching gift please email [email protected]
Together, we can make sure no Atlanta baby goes without.
Whether you give dollars, diapers, or time, your support keeps families moving forward.
Thank you for standing with us.
