Founded by the Junior League of Atlanta in partnership with North Avenue Presbyterian Church, the Day Shelter opened its doors in 1986—giving children a place to be cared for while parents took steps toward stability.
The Founders' Luncheon is a milestone celebration marking the organization's 40th anniversary while honoring the visionary contributions of the Junior League members who took the helm.
